Koinonos' Medical Ministry is Directed by Dr. Jhonny Rodriguez

MEDICAL MINISTRY: 

• We provide good, quality health care to the people of the Dominican Republic.
• We are committed to working alongside medical teams to coordinate outreaches in partnership with solid, bible-based, Christian churches in north and central DR. 
• Our vision is to train volunteers from local churches to be evangelistic health promoters in their communities, demonstrating the love and compassion of Christ as they regularly visit with neighbors to share health topics as well as the Gospel. 
• To assure long-term results and sustainability, we are committed to seeing volunteers from local churches trained in evangelism, discipleship, and missions. 

COMMUNITY CLINIC OPPORTUNITIES:

Since their beginning, God has allowed us to be involved with two small Medical Centers located in needy communities. The Clinics are outreach ministries of two local churches. We've come alongside them to train health promoters and to help expand the health services to their communities;

• MINIPEVID (Pediatric Ministry Live), a medical clinic ministry of Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva, is an outreach tool for a church planting project in the town of Tamboril.

• Ministerio Medico / Dental Manos de Gracia (Hands of Grace Ministry) where hundreds of people are being seen and treated each month, allowing the local church (Iglesia Biblica Cristiana de Cienfuegos) to be known as a source of good, quality health service.
